Christmas Holiday 2009

I started this blog quite a while ago now, and finally I'm able to sit for a while and finish it.

Over christmas we went on a trip to the south west of Western Australia, starting in Albany. We arrived on the 23rd December in the evening, so we just had time to unpack the car, have dinner and go to bed.

The next day we drove west towards Denmark to where our friends Judit, Nik, Megan and Zak Moreton were staying in Torbay.
We spent christmas eve at the tree top walk.

We then did a very quick stop at a lake before heading to Greens Pool.

Judit and I went for a walk to see if we could spot the elephant rocks. We were unsuccessful, but did have a lovely, peaceful time enjoying the surroundings.

Christmas morning.
We met up with the Moretons again who were staying with other friends Kate and Ben, and Ben's father and girlfriend. We decided to drive to Mutton bird beach which is local to where they were staying.

Christmas Lunch, mmmm ham and chilli pineapple!

Dessert, fairy cakes. or as the boys kept saying 'pudding time'

Boxing day. This time everyone drove over to Albany, I think we went to Ledge Point, but I can't remember for sure. Jacob wanted to try out his new fishing rod:)

Unfortunateley not our catch, but Nik's.

This is where we left our friends before we continued on our holiday. Next stop Esperance.
