UK trip during October 2009

The boys and I had started getting quite homesick by June, however, the cost of flights prevented us from being able to go home for a visit. Gareth and I just kept an eye on the prices until one day they came down enough that we were finally able to book. Unfortunately, Gareth had work commitments and so I had to brave the flights on my own with the boys. It also meant that from the time of booking to actually going was a very short space of time to get organised!I'm really sorry to those of you that we didn't see this time, but we'll see you next time!
Or you can come and visit us:)
I'm not going to write about everything we did as it would take too long, But I was very excited to meet my new baby niece properly for the first time:)
So here are a bunch of photos from our trip.
The day after we arrived at Nanny and Grandad's. Having fun with cousins Tamzin and Leyla.

Trying out Uncle Jason's helmet.

After a few days we drove west to stay with Nanny and Grampy in Weston-Super-Mare. Jacob and Oliver were very keen to see Nanny and Grampy's new house.
The boys, myself and Mary went in to Weston.
We went on to the Weston Wheel and had our photo taken before we got on.
From the Wheel we could see the burnt out Weston pier being remodeled.
Nicola, David, Katy and her boyfriend Matt came to visit.

Pretending to be bulls!

BUBBLES!!!! (Thanks, Nicola, David and Katy!)

Mmmmmm, roast dinner with chocolate profiteroles for desert.

We went to Abingdon next to see our friends Taz, Andy, Ella, Daniel and Caitlin Round.
At the local Soft Play.

We took the park and ride bus in to Oxford and then walked to the Museum.

Dinosaur footprints across the lawn in front of the museum.

Sitting down to breakfast.

For the weekend we stayed with our friends Sophie, Stuart, Noah and Soloman Cleak.

Just to prove I was there too!

Back to Nanny and Grampy's.

Mary, the boys and I went to a little farm, (The name escapes me at the moment).
It was very lovely except for the rain.

It had a great indoor play area.
Jacob and Oliver managed to convince Mary to join in on the fun too!!!!!!

A trip in to Weston again, this time to the park. Roger came and met us for lunch.
Then we went on to the beach to fly aeroplanes that Roger had built with the boys. Our last morning with Nanny and Grampy:(
Trying to get a photo without someone moving proved very difficult, so I gave up.
Then it was time for our final trip on the M4 and see Nanny and Grandad.
Tanya, Jim and my gorgeous new niece Mia came to visit too.
Afternoon at Alice Holt Forest, Farnham.

Sleeping beauty! Fighting over Nanny's hand:)

Do you know how hard it is to get two 4 year olds, a 3 year old and a 2 year old to all smile and look at the camera at the same time?!

A visit to see my Grandad, Jacob and Ollie's Great Grandad.

So cute!

Then it was time to leave the UK and fly home.
On the way home to Daddy! :)
