Jacob's first sports day!

Considering it was a VERY cold and windy day all the children did a fantastic job! I didn't hear any complaints about being cold, they just all looked mesmerised by what was going on. The whole school was out together chanting for their factions. (House group). Jacob is in the green faction and will be until he leaves the school. Ollie will also go in to the green faction if he goes to the same school. The noise was incredible, it started getting a little overwhelming...then it was time to march out to the field. Can you spot Jacob???Let the race begin...The Kindy children don't get a 'first, second or third' place, it's all about the participation, but Jacob did do pretty well:)
Here he is walking back to the class for morning tea, He is holding Madison's hand, she lives next door to us and they are firm friends. Unfortunately they go to school on different days, but they have the same teacher and so were very excited to see each other on this 'extra' special day. Ollie likes being included with the big Kindy kids:) After morning tea it was time to split in to teams for the games. Ollie even had a go on some of them.

Jacob did brilliantly, even when it started to rain.

  1. What fun! I miss having school-aged children. Wait, I wouldn't be a Nana if they were still in school so never mind!
Jacob and Ollie look wonderful. Give them some hugs from me (give yourself one, too)!
